Here’s a look at the phenomenal outcomes and highlights of this landmark event:
- 85 events held in partnership with Toronto Tech Fest
- 145 events in May alone focused on the tech community featured on the master calendar
- 3,441 individuals from the tech ecosystem who flew in, drove, or were local to the GTA and signed up for Tech Fest events
- 10,000 RSVPs throughout the week
- Collaboration with 255+ event hosts, organizers, speakers, panelists, vendors, and activators across the city to produce Toronto Tech Fest for the community.
Toronto Tech Fest was produced by Aceocial and Airfoil Studio, along with local founders in the Toronto tech community, in partnership with OneEleven, HOVR, and TMU/Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst.
Key Tech Fest team members—Michael Liu, Mell Truong, Frank Chen, Eric Lay, Arda Erturk, Parry Chan, Oliver Xin, and Victor Ou—with added support from Min Kim/Airfoil Team and Katie Yigitoz, produced the first ‘unconference’ style week of events in Toronto on this scale. This collective created opportunities to attend workshops, panels, fireside chats, dinners, socials, and networking events without the cost of a conference badge.
