WASHINGTONFeb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Ankura today announced the appointment of Christopher Todd Doss as Managing Director.  Based in Washington, DC, Mr. Doss is a senior executive with more than 35 years of experience working in law enforcement and coordinating sensitive and urgent investigative matters with a broad range of public and private sector stakeholders around the globe.  He has vast experience leading cyber, global security, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and intelligence operations in challenging, high-risk environments. Based on his unique experience and expertise, Mr. Doss develops results-oriented solutions for business and government leaders confronting cyber risks and incidents, as well as other high-stakes enterprise challenges, by leveraging Ankura’s leading edge investigative, intelligence advisory, and technology capabilities.

Prior to joining Ankura, Mr. Doss was an Assistant Director with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and served as the Director of the Agency’s Crime Laboratory based in Washington, DC, where he was responsible for managing a $100 million budget and oversaw more than 40 management staff, as well as 1,100 special agents and professional personnel, to seamlessly deliver holistic global, strategic, operational, investigative, and infrastructure support to the US intelligence and law enforcement communities.

Earlier in his FBI career, Mr. Doss was credited with helping to lead the successfully deployment of the FBI’s Laboratory Information Management System, which transitioned the nation’s largest forensic lab from a paper-based evidence and case tracking process to a highly-efficient electronic management system designed to effectively catalogue forensic analyses throughout the examination lifecycle of thousands of matters.  In addition, he led national forensic investigative efforts, deployed staff, and secured financial resources to support major FBI investigations, including the Boston Marathon bombings, the DC Navy Yard attack, and the Aurora, Coloradoshootings.
