April 30, 2019 – Yesterday, Austrian Airlines launched its new, non-stop service between Vienna, Austria to Montréal, Quebec. Flight OS 73 departed from Vienna at 10:30 a.m. local time and arrived at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport at1:35 p.m. local time. Eastbound flight OS 74 was scheduled to depart Montreal at 6:45 p.m. local time and land in Vienna at8.45 a.m. local time the following day. Service will occur daily throughout the summer and five times per week during the winter season.

Until the end of the year, we expect to transport approximately 75,000 passengers between Montréal and Vienna”, said Wolfgang Jani, CFO of Austrian Airlines. “Passengers travelling on this new route will be able to experience our elevated service, premium products and culinary options.”

The New Service In Brief
The duration of the Austrian Airlines flight from Montréal to Vienna is approximately nine hours. The flight connection between Toronto and Vienna will be taken over by Star Alliance and Joint Venture partner Air Canada, also operating daily in the summer and five times weekly during the winter season.
