Toronto, October 29–November 2, 2025 — The Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA), Canada’s longest-running literary celebration, returns this fall with a bold new look and location. Now set at Victoria University at the University of Toronto, the 2025 edition will deliver five days of storytelling, discussion, and discovery — bringing together writers, thinkers, and readers from around the world.

A New Chapter for Canada’s Premier Literary Festival

This year, TIFA welcomes more than 100 events, including readings, masterclasses, and thought-provoking conversations featuring authors from Japan, Korea, New Zealand, France, Germany, Portugal, Ireland, the U.S., Brazil, and beyond. The festival’s move to Victoria University introduces new spaces and formats designed to create intimate, engaging literary experiences for audiences.
