What inspired you to enter the Mrs. Globe Canada pageant, and what personal experiences do you hope to highlight through this platform?

I have always been inspired by opportunities that enable women to showcase their inner strength and resilience. As a Latina immigrant and a new mom, I have faced many challenges, such as starting a new life in Canada and balancing motherhood with my aspirations. Through this platform, I want to share my journey and demonstrate that it is possible to reinvent yourself in a new country while embracing each step of the way.

As a new mom and Latina immigrant, what unique challenges and strengths do you bring to the pageant, and how have these aspects of your life influenced your message?

Moving from Colombia to Canada and becoming a new mom has brought both beautiful and challenging moments. As an immigrant, I’ve faced the challenge of starting anew, adapting to a different culture, and building a community.

Being a mom brings its own set of responsibilities, requiring me to balance my time and adjust to my new life while striving to be a positive role model. These experiences have taught me resilience, persistence, and patience, fueling my message of courage and hope. I want my journey to inspire others who may feel alone or overwhelmed, reminding them that they are capable and strong, even in unfamiliar circumstances.

How do you see the Mrs. Globe platform supporting your goals for community advocacy, and what specific issues are you most passionate about promoting?

The Mrs. Globe platform aligns perfectly with my vision for community impact. Through my platform, OnHand, I am committed to supporting local communities by providing resources and promoting affordable or free activities that enable people to lead fulfilling lives without financial stress. I am passionate about immigrant visibility and family support, as these issues are particularly important to me. I hope to leverage the pageant’s reach to connect with others and spread a message of inclusivity, financial literacy, and empowerment, inspiring individuals to believe in their potential.

Pageants have traditionally been viewed through a specific lens. How do you think the Mrs. Globe Canada pageant breaks stereotypes, and what role do you see yourself playing in that shift?

Mrs. Globe Canada truly celebrates diversity and the depth of modern womanhood, moving beyond the superficial image often associated with pageants. It values not only outer beauty but also the unique stories, challenges, and resilience that each contestant brings. My role in this transformation is to demonstrate that as a mother, immigrant, and advocate, I embody the multifaceted nature of today’s women—strong, ambitious, and compassionate. I aim to challenge outdated stereotypes and showcase how pageants can serve as a platform for real-life stories and meaningful impact.

In preparing for this event, what has been the most transformative or unexpected aspect of the journey for you?

The most transformative part of this journey has been discovering a newfound confidence in myself. Balancing motherhood, my personal goals, and pageant preparation has proven to be more challenging than I expected. However, it has taught me that I am capable of much more than I ever imagined. This experience has shown me that even as a new mom, I can still dream big and pursue my passions. I hope my journey inspires others to keep striving for their goals.

What message do you hope to convey to other women, particularly young moms and immigrants, who may be watching your journey?

My message to other young moms and immigrants is this: Believe in your strength and don’t let your current circumstances limit your dreams. Starting fresh in a new country or becoming a mom can feel overwhelming, but you are not alone. Take each day one step at a time, knowing that you are building a life not just for yourself, but for those who look up to you. With passion, resilience, and self-belief, you can overcome any challenge and create a life that makes you proud.
