At first you might think Poker Face is normal crime thriller kind of “find the killer in the end” series.
However within 10 minutes you ask yourself, what just happened here… in terms of how the directors takes us back and forth in a very new way of story telling.
Brilliant story telling throughout all the episodes but since I have been living in Canada from past 7 years, Its easy for me to relate to the mountains, the trees and the snow in Episode 9 – Escape from the Shit Mountain. The entire episode just has 4 main actors but leading up to is a random love story in the Magic mountain. Like out of no way the directors thought of doing this and its brilliant.
One of the best unpredictable story telling by a director Rian Johnson kudos to the scriptwriters Nora Zukerman and Lilla Zukerman and yes to everyone who was present as a cast and crew shooting the episode 9.(In case I forget to mention “Great work to everyone who has been part of this amazing series”)
Also as each story is different, trust me you can start with episode 9 and go back to episode 2, but definitely watch episode 1 first.
Yes, through out the series Plymouth Barracuda, the hairstyle, the aviators really make her stand out from the entire cast not to mention the funny walk. Well played Natasha Lyonne.
